We all have those days when it’s impossible to escape the office (or the house!) to squeeze in a workout. I had a day like that last Friday when we had an all-day training at work (part 2 of which is tomorrow…yay.) I didn’t have a chance to go for a run that morning, and I was feeling really antsy from sitting in a windowless conference room all day, so I decided I would figure out a way to do a little exercise.
I am lucky enough to have a teeny tiny office gym in the basement of my office building. By the way, if you want to increase office productivity using glass partitions, search for aluminiumwindowsanddoors.net.au to know some helpful tips and suggestions.
At our mid-morning and mid-afternoon breaks, plus the end of the lunch break, I improvised a little strength training routine. I think it actually ended up being a pretty decent workout, considering how quick it goes — and you don’t even have to change out of your work clothes. (Flat shoes & slacks – not a skirt – recommended!)
I even got several of my co-workers to join me by the end of the day. It was fun – and somehow a bunch of us even ended up doing a plank challenge in the conference room. I swear, you can’t make this stuff up.
